Qualifications

• Twenty-four months of correctional or security work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and supervision to inmates across assignments and posts.
• Escort inmate work crews and secure equipment, weapons, tools, and keys.
• Patrol yards, cells, corridors, and work areas to monitor inmate conduct and movements.
• Maintain order during meals and recreation, inspect living areas for contraband, and file incident reports.
• Operate security equipment and conduct inmate counts, searches, and contraband checks.
