Qualifications

• Three years of correctional or security experience.
• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Either 30 college hours or a high school diploma with approved training per 57 OS 510.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise correctional security functions at the facility.
• May serve as shift supervisor for units or chief of security in smaller facilities.
• Direct a correctional emergency response team and coordinate training.
• Conduct investigations of incidents on the assigned shift.
• Maintain records and prepare schedules, reports, and liaison with local law enforcement.
