MEDIKO is seeking a Registered Nurse for 12-hour day shifts at the Lynnwood Jail in Lynnwood, WA. The RN will provide direct patient care, including assessments, medications, treatments and emergency response, in a correctional setting.

Qualifications include active RN licensure, 1–3 years in healthcare (preferably correctional), and CPR/BLS certification. The role emphasizes compliance with state regulations and infection control, with benefits and career growth opportunities offered by MEDIKO.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure/credentials to practice as RN in applicable state(s).
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing or related field is preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in correctional healthcare or similar environment.
• Experience in direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies and procedures related to correctional setting is an advantage.
• Demonstrated time-management and adherence to protocols in fast-paced, structured environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments and emergency response.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Educate patients on health conditions, monitor progress and contribute to a safe healthcare environment.
