Roadrunner Health Services in New Mexico seeks a registered nurse to provide holistic care for incarcerated patients under supervision, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of health needs.

The role emphasizes autonomy, adherence to HIPAA and CQI initiatives, and maintaining safety and ethical standards within a correctional environment. Prior correctional experience is preferred and nurses must hold an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in applicable state.
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Prior experience providing nursing care and working with a high degree of autonomy required.
• Experience with direct care in correctional environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate with team members and document findings.
• Collect and document health information, lab, EKG, and other tests and share with the team.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care within the correctional system framework.
• Administer medications and monitor outcomes.
• Monitor and document medication administration and controlled substances.
