Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Licensed Registered Nurse for part-time coverage at the McLean County Detention Facility in Bloomington, IL. The role requires providing nursing care, medication administration, and health assessments within a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with practitioners, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. A 2-year degree and an active IL RN license are required, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in IL in good standing.
• BLS certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid care when appropriate.
• Record vital signs, glucose checks, and other measurements on-site.
• Triage and intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Maintain and document care information concisely and timely.
• Coordinate multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
