Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Taylorville Correctional Facility team in Taylorville, Illinois. The RN provides holistic nursing care within the licensed scope of practice to incarcerated patients, under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to diverse health needs.

Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain one) and CPR certification are required, as is the ability to obtain security

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Illinois RN license or ability to obtain one.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
