Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Corrections Programs Director I to oversee inmate rehabilitation programs at Greene Correctional Institution, Maury, NC. You will manage staff, supervise program instruction, referrals, and classification activities while coordinating with custody personnel.

Minimum education includes a bachelor’s degree in a related field with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or criminal justice field with two years of experience in correctional programs management or related work.
• Documented experience with report writing.
• Knowledge of case management practices or interviewing techniques for intake assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and oversee program instruction, referrals, and inmate rehabilitation at Greene Correctional Institution.
• Direct programs for inmate rehabilitation and coordinate with custody staff.
• Ensure SOP adherence, release procedures, and daily program operations.
