Job summary

The Michigan Department of Corrections is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to mentally ill and/or mentally disabled prisoners. You will work within an interdisciplinary treatment team, develop and implement therapy interventions, and perform case management for an assigned group of inmates.

Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
• Occupational Therapist 9: no specific type or amount of experience required.
• Occupational Therapist 10: one year of professional experience.
• Occupational Therapist P11: two years of professional experience including one year at OT 10.
• Registration as an occupational therapist by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth.
