CoreCivic is hiring a Correctional Officer to provide security, care and direct supervision of inmates in housing units, meals, recreation and other facility activities. You may be asked to use weapons or force to maintain order, and veterans are encouraged to apply.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, and willing to complete paid training and licensure if required. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work any shift are essential.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
• Paid training and, where applicable, licensure as a security officer.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Can demonstrate the ability to complete any required training.
• Available to work any hours, any shift.
• Are at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Be able to work any shift and handle posts including armory, housing units, kitchen, medical, and visitation.
• Assist in security and safety by monitoring and enforcing rules as required.
