Job summary

CoreCivic is hiring a Correctional Officer to provide security, care and direct supervision of inmates in a secure facility. You may be assigned to multiple posts, including housing units, meals, recreation and work assignments, with training provided.

The role requires industrious individuals who can adapt to shift work and complete mandatory training, and who meet the minimum age and licensing requirements. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Perform supervision in housing units, during meals, recreation, and work assignments.
• Be prepared to work various posts including armory, housing, kitchen, medical and visitation.
