CoreCivic is hiring immediately for a Correctional Officer who will provide security, care and direct supervision of inmates in a secure facility. The role supports order across housing units, meals, recreation and work assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Paid training provided; may require state security officer license.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to complete required training.
• Able to work any hours and any shift.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Provide care and direct supervision in housing, meals, recreation, and work assignments.
• May need to employ weapons or force to maintain discipline and safety.
• Be flexible to work various posts such as armory, housing, kitchen, medical, and visitation.
