Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Able to meet Wisconsin Corrections Certification within first year of employment.
• Completion of physical agility test; psychological test and post-offer evaluations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates to maintain safety and security in the jail.
• Monitor inmate living areas and perform safety inspections; respond to threats.
• Distribute meals, supplies, and escort inmates to visits and programs.
• Maintain inmate counts and write incident reports when needed.
• Respond to emergencies and use appropriate force per training.
