Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Corrections is hiring Correctional Officers to ensure security, custody and treatment of residents. You will supervise on-site and escort off-site as needed, while maintaining records and professional communication with staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old with no felony convictions.
• Ability to meet firearm standards within first year of employment.
• Able to work up to 16 hours per day and 40+ hours per week as needed.
• Background checks including pre-employment screening and fingerprinting.
