Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to meet personal protection training requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel with reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of the unit and safety of staff and incarcerated individuals.
• Monitor areas for security, count inmates, and supervise activities.
• Escort inmates to and from locations for meals, medicine, and work.
• Keep records and reports on movements, activities, and rule violations.
• Operate in accordance with DOC policies and overtime requirements.
