Washington State Department of Corrections seeks qualified Correctional Officer 1 (CO1) and CO2 at the Wenatchee Valley Reentry Center in Wenatchee, WA. The roles include full-time and on-call positions with a six-week paid training, preparing incumbents for state-wide duties in a high-security environment.

Officers ensure safety and security, manage inmate movement, uphold policies, and support residents on transition to community life.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED.
• One year of DOC Corrections and Custody Officer experience for CO2.
• Successful completion of CORE (Academy) and FTO for CO2.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safety and security of the facility.
• Control movement of incarcerated individuals and monitor activities.
• Provide positive role modeling and assist in re-entry goals.
