State of Washington, Department of Corrections, seeks Correctional Officer 1 (CO2) for Clallam Bay Corrections Center and Olympic Corrections Center in WA. Full-time and on-call roles with six-week academy, relocation considerations, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Candidates must complete the CORE Academy, pass a field training program, and meet minimum qualifications including a GED, valid license, and firearm eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Legal right to carry a firearm.

Responsabilités

• Correctional Officers provide safety and security in adult facilities and monitor inmate activities.
• Maintain order and enforce rules to ensure a secure environment.
• Complete CO1 training and advance to CO2 after successful CORE/academy completion.
