About Buena Vista Correctional Complex: It comprises two facilities: Buena Vista Correctional Facility (BVCF), opened in 1892 with a capacity of 934 inmates at medium custody, and Buena Vista Minimum Center (BVMC), opened in 1999 with a capacity of 300 inmates at minimum custody.
