Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility safe and secure through inmate head counts, wellness checks, cell inspections, and regular security rounds.
• Respond to emergencies, apply crisis-intervention techniques, and de-escalate mental-health situations with skill and compassion.
• Supervise inmate movement, meals, recreation, and visits to maintain order and safety.
• Conduct NCIC checks, manage warrants and protection orders, and support inmates’ access to programs and services.
