Job summary

InGenesis seeks a Correctional Nurse Practitioner to provide on-site medical services to the male population at a correctional facility. Weekdays-only schedule with some flexibility in hours.

You will develop care plans, perform advanced nursing duties within licensure scope, monitor patient progress, and conduct routine physical examinations while maintaining complete medical records.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) licensed in Ohio with board certification.
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
• At least one year of NP experience in primary care, correctional, or hospital medicine.
• Current healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform advanced nursing duties within the scope of licensure.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Conduct routine physical examinations.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Provide clinical guidance and oversight to lower-level clinical staff.
• Participate in committees and meetings, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
