NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Montgomery, Alabama, to join our team serving inmates at the Detention Facility. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing education (Master's or Doctorate).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Unrestricted NP license in STATE.
• Current DEA registration.
• Collaborative agreement with on-site Physician.
• Active CPR certification.
• Board certification by a recognized medical board.
• Criminal background check and drug screening clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions (asthma, hypertension, diabetes).
• Administer medications and provide patient instructions.
• Monitor health, vital signs, and medical histories.
• Provide direct patient care, triage, and coordinate services.
• Respond to emergencies and facilitate patient transport.
• Educate on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Adhere to correctional facility security protocols.
