The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) seeks a licensed Registered Nurse who has completed a Nurse Practitioner program and is certified to prescribe under ORC 4723. The role involves direct patient care within a correctional setting and requires collaboration with the CMO and other leadership teams.
Responsibilities include monitoring chronic illnesses, performing exams, coordinating referrals, and ensuring quality medical care in a secure institution.
There are two (2) vacant positions; only one (1) application is needed.
Valid license as Registered Nurse; completion of Nurse Practitioner program & certified by Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice with valid certificate of authority & certificate to prescribe in accordance with ORC 4723.
