The State of Ohio, Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work within a correctional setting under the institutional Chief Medical Officer. This role requires patient care for inmate populations and collaboration with medical staff.
You will perform routine exams, manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and participate in rounds and quality improvement activities to ensure care meets ACA standards and institutional policies.

This position works under general direction of the institutional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and may be required to work at more than one institution.

Valid license as Registered Nurse; completion of Nurse Practitioner program & certified by Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice with valid certificate of authority & certificate to prescribe in accordance with ORC 4723.
