Naphcare, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Elmore, AL to support healthcare for the incarcerated population at Elmore Correctional Facility. This position involves various duties, including performing assessments, administering medications, and providing patient education.

The ideal candidate has a nursing background and is certified as a LPN, with the opportunity for both new graduates and experienced nurses. Benefits include health insurance, tuition assistance, and 401K contributions starting on day one.

Competenze

• Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification.
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Perform patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems.
• Administer medication, including injections.
• Maintain medical records, including entering information into TechCare.
