NaphCare, Inc. is hiring an LPN to join our team at the Kilby Correctional Facility in Mt. Meigs, AL. You will work with correctional officers and other medical staff to assess patients, administer medications, and manage chronic conditions in a controlled environment.

Formación

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association required).
• Able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
• Display integrity, professionalism and adhere to a Code of Conduct and facility policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments and interview patients about health problems and medication history.
• Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas.
• Administer medications and monitor reactions.
• Maintain medical records, including entering information into TechCare EHR.
• Observe patient health and mental health status; provide emergency first aid.
