Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a licensed clinician to provide primary medical care at correctional facilities in Minnesota. The role requires on-site presence, regular patient evaluations, and adherence to facility policies.

You will manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications within your scope, document visits, and participate in ACH conferences. A valid state license, board certification, DEA registration, and BLS are required, with willingness to work in a secure,

Qualifications

• MD/DO/NP/PA licensed in the state where services are provided.
• Board Certification current and active.
• DEA registration current and active.
• Collaborative agreement, if required by state.
• Experience in primary care, corrections, or managed health care delivery.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BLS certification; hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Perform problem-focused, individualized medical assessments.
• Be physically on-site at assigned correctional facility(s) on a regular basis.
• Must document dates and times of provided site coverage by logging hours into online payroll system.
• Provide 24/7 on-call phone services.
• Provide back up call for other facilities as needed.
• Personally, examine patients as needed. Stay on-site until all patients are seen.
• Prescribe medication and treatment within prescriptive authority, mindful of safety considerations.
• Review patient medical records and sign off on orders.
• Comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Attend ACH medical conferences; participate in ongoing professional development.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Education

MD/DO/NP/PA license in state of service

Board Certification

DEA registration
