NaphCare is hiring an experienced Licensed Counselor / Therapist to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Winslow in Winslow, AZ. The role focuses on counseling individuals in residence, with a pay range of $36.00–$42.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, and licensure.

A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment. The position requires a Master’s degree in counseling or related field and active AZ licensure (LCSW/LCMHC or equivalent), plus 3 years of clinical

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field (e.g., social work).
• Active, unrestricted AZ licensure as LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LMHP/LISW/LPCC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical, mental health and correctional staff to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe environment.
• Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans; address criminogenic needs and promote behavioral change.
• Participate in trainings related to mental health care for patients and staff; maintain case files and reports; participate in hearings.
• Develop and deliver patient education and group therapy; monitor treatment progress and compliance with policies.
