Job summary

NaphCare is hiring an experienced Licensed Counselor / Therapist (LCSWs, LCMHCs, etc.) to join our team in the Arizona Department of Corrections – Perryville, Goodyear, AZ. Pay ranges from $36.00 to $42.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, experience, and licensure.

We offer a $7,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees. As a Correctional Licensed Counselor or Therapist, you will work with correctional officers and other professionals to provide counseling and mental health care

Qualifications

• Master's level education in counseling or related field with active AZ licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification required (AHA).
• Minimum 3 years of clinical mental health experience; correctional care preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical, mental health and correctional staff to ensure safe, quality patient care.
• Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans and group therapy.
• Develop and implement educational materials and participate in trainings.
• Document case files, prepare reports and participate in hearings.
