Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC) to oversee mental health services at the Jennifer Road Detention Center. This is a 40-hour-per-week on-site role, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.

The clinician will coordinate and monitor the mental health program, conduct assessments, risk evaluations, and act as liaison between medical and facility staff, ensuring NCCHC-compliant care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C in Maryland.
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with clinical concentration.
• Minimum of two years of experience; MAT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments based on referrals; include mental status exam, diagnosis, and treatment plan; refer to psychiatry when appropriate.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage inmates at risk of suicide or self-harm per policy.
• Serve as PCM mental health liaison for services outside the facility.
• Facilitates admission/placement to forensic hospitals when necessary.
• Monitors mental health services and standards of care per NCCHC guidelines.
• Member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
• Develops and conducts annual in-service education programs.
• Collects data and prepares monthly performance reports.
