Job summary

CFG Health Systems is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to oversee day-to-day clinical operations at a Maryland facility. The role includes developing operational plans, supervising staff, and delivering professional mental health services to inmates.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing mental health programs, performing evaluations, group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and ensuring 24-hour facility coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid LCSW license in the state where services are rendered.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient environments.
• Experience in providing services in a correctional environment is preferred.
• Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Must interact with institutional staff, medical staff, and the agencies of the court.
• Must complete a satisfactory background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of clinical programs in conjunction with the Chief Psychiatrist.
• Provision of the full range of mental health services to inmates, including evaluation, therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Ensure 24-hour coverage for the facility, on-call and/or on-site.
• Participate in treatment team activities and review inmate treatment plans.
• Review forensic evaluations and provide crisis intervention training to staff.
