Job summary

The State of Oklahoma seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician II to deliver professional mental health services within the Allen Gamble Correctional Center. You will perform screenings, diagnose, and provide counseling to inmates, coordinating care with medical and mental health teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or related field with practicum experience.
• License eligibility and progress toward licensure within 18 months.
• Experience providing professional counseling in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides initial and ongoing mental health screenings and evaluations for inmates.
• Delivers crisis, suicide and harm-reduction intervention to high-risk individuals.
• Provides individual and group counseling and evidence-based therapies.
• Coordinates care with medical and mental health professionals and others.
