NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Mental Health Clerk to join our team at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Tucson facility in Tucson, AZ.

You will provide administrative and clerical support to the Mental Health Director and Health Services Administrator in a security-conscious environment. Responsibilities include handling calls, data entry into EHR systems, coordinating records and volunteer services, and assisting with reports using Microsoft Office, X-Jail, and TechCare.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Excellent skills in organization, attention to detail, time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA required).
• Must have one year of clerical experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Must maintain confidentiality and comply with corporate policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Prepare reports and memos using Word/Excel; use X-Jail/TechCare as needed.
• Track supplies, process purchase orders, and distribute mail.
• Enter client data into EHR including case notes, payments, and scheduling.
• Shred PHI and maintain patient privacy.
• Coordinate with Records for archiving files and reports.
• Coordinate volunteer services.
