Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience involving custody, security and supervision of inmate workers.
• Military service may substitute for required experience at two years per one year of service.

Responsibilities

• Supervises subordinate Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Officers, directing inmate workers in the repair, renovation and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Monitors inmate workers to ensure compliance with custody and security protocols.
• Prepares specifications for maintenance projects and approves cost estimates for supplies and materials.
