Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LVN program with active Texas license.
• Current BLS-HP certification required.
• Recent graduates with temporary permits may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Review and modify the care plan under supervision.
• Document care and observe changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
