Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Managed Care is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team at the Formby/Wheeler Units, located in Plainview, TX. At TTUHSC, our LVNs are vital members of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing safe, compassionate, and competent care within a correctional healthcare setting.

About The Formby/Wheeler Units

The Formby/Wheeler Units offer a fast-paced clinical environment where LVNs play a critical role in daily patient care, emergency response, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Nurses are empowered to utilize their assessment and critical-thinking skills while contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

License/Certification: Current Vocational Nurse License in the State of Texas, or ability to transfer license to Texas, or scheduled to complete a program of vocational nursing within 120 days of applying for a position. Current CPR certification. Graduated from an approved accredited nursing program. New graduates must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX- PN) on the first attempt.
