The role covers night shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am, delivering patient/family centered care under RN direction and supporting a defined patient population in a secure correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current CPR card (AHA BLS or Red Cross Professional Rescuer) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered care and support informed decision making.
• Assist medical staff with exams, procedures, intake screenings, vital signs, and room stocking.
• Perform nursing care for inmates/detainees following facility rules and safety procedures.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the secure correctional perimeter.
• Coordinate with correctional officers to ensure safe movement and maintain security.
