Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians in Lexington County Detention Center is hiring an RN II to provide comprehensive nursing care within a secure correctional setting. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and lead assigned staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered services.

This 36-hour weekly role runs 7:00pm–7:00am and offers eligibility for shift differentials.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in SC or compact state is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum one year RN experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and leads other team members within a correctional setting.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Adheres to safety, PREA, and documentation requirements.
