NaphCare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse in Fort Myers, FL to join our team caring for individuals at the Lee County Jail. As a correctional nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and medical staff in a controlled environment to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Actively state-certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association required).
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism and adhere to the Code of Conduct and facility policies.

Aufgaben

• Perform patient assessments and interview patients about health problems and medication history.
• Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Provide wound care and bandaging of injuries.
• Administer medications and monitor reactions.
• Maintain medical records in the electronic health record TechCare.
• Observe health and mental health status of patients.
• Provide emergency first aid.
• Educate patients and assist with discharge planning.
