Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker in Florida to supervise inmates in food preparation and ensure meals align with production plans. You will train workers, coordinate schedules, and maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with HACCP and Aramark policies.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and approve logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Print and distribute recipes.
• Instruct inmates in Aramark recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain security; ensure storage areas are locked and keys secured.
