Job summary

Aramark seeks a Food Service Manager at Toledo Correctional Institution to oversee daily food production in a secure facility. You will manage kitchen operations, supervise staff and incarcerated workers, and maintain strict safety standards while controlling inventory and costs.

You will ensure menus meet nutritional requirements and that all activities comply with facility, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience
• 1 year in a management role preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain client and customer rapport
• Excellent customer service using Aramark's service model
• Ability to coordinate with other departments for a unified food service experience
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lb
• Ability to stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members to reach their potential
• Reward and recognize employees and ensure performance meets objectives
• Plan and lead daily team briefings
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards across operations
• Identify client needs and communicate progress
• Manage P&L statements and deliver financial targets
• Adopt Aramark processes and educate teams on margins
• Oversee production, quality and control across the kitchen
• Lead front-of-house dining operations in conjunction with the Food Service Director
• Direct and coordinate food service activities to deliver finished products to customers
