Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join the onsite kitchen team at Graham County Jail in Safford, AZ. You will work in a fast-paced corrections facility kitchen, preparing meals with emphasis on quality, portion control, and presentation.

Responsibilities include food preparation, maintaining the kitchen, proper food storage, and following established recipes and safety policies. Prior high-volume, scratch cooking experience is required along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools and identify/differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
