Qualifications

• Experience in a production area or correctional industries operation, or related field, in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
• High school diploma or proof of high school equivalency required.
• Two or more years of any work experience with high school diploma or equivalency.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Missouri Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months for certain assignments.
• All required documents must be received by the closing date.

Responsibilities

• Supervises/trains offenders in enterprise tasks and maintenance of equipment and materials.
• Maintains vigilance over offender actions to prevent contraband and ensure accountability.
• Inspects work-in-progress for quality and efficiency.
• Inspects machines and equipment for proper operation and maintenance.
• Serves/maintains/repairs industry equipment as needed.
• Handles tools management, records, and security procedures.
• Documents time/materials used and work performed for billing and records.
