Job summary

CorrHealth is seeking a Health Services Administrator to lead the medical unit departments at local correctional institutions. You will plan, direct, coordinate and supervise healthcare delivery, including budget, patient care, and laboratory and pharmacy operations.

The role requires RN licensure and an advanced degree in a related field, plus experience in health administration within correctional or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field preferred.
• Some experience in an LTC setting is preferred.
• 1 year of administrative/ supervisory health care experience with regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervises health services staff across nursing, dental, medical records and mental health.
• Directs budgetary and fiscal matters to meet financial goals for the facility.
• Ensures licensure, certification, and quality standards are maintained.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of health records.
• Plans and presents orientation and continuing education.
• Coordinates with facility leadership to review reports and needs.
