Job summary

State of Michigan’s MDOC seeks Registered Nurses at the Duane Waters Health Center in Jackson County. The RN P11-12 roles involve direct patient care across inpatient, outpatient, or residential treatment units, with a senior-level Charge Nurse option and independent clinical decision-making.

No specific experience is required for RN P11; RN-12 requires one year of RN experience or a higher degree with six months of RN experience. A $5,000 signing bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Possession of a diploma, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• One year of experience as a RN is required for RN-12; no specific experience required for RN-11.
• A master's or bachelor's degree in nursing with six months of RN experience may substitute for the RN-12 requirement.
• The Department may screen applicants with felony convictions per Public Act 191 of 2017.
