Job summary

Cell Staff, a nationwide healthcare staffing company, is seeking a licensed RN to join a client facility in South Dakota. This is a full-time contract position with 12-hour shifts; some weekends may be required and shift availability flexibility is a plus.

Responsibilities include health screenings, triage, and treatment of inmates’ medical needs, administering medications, wound care, and acting as a first responder in emergencies. Excellent weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN by the state of employment (in good standing).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Health screenings and physical examinations for inmates.
• Triage, assess, and treat chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs.
• Provide mental health care assessments/evaluations.
• Administer medications, wound care, and interventions as directed.
• First responder in emergencies and crises.
• General nursing duties including cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines.
