Qualifications

• One year of experience as a medical assistant performing front and back-office duties, venipuncture, EHR, phlebotomy, vitals, and EKGs.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion from an accredited program.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification from AMT.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within the medical assistant scope of practice under supervision to ensure quality patient care.
• Completes required documentation in the EHR.
• Verifies medical information with outside healthcare entities as needed.
• Responds to clinical calls in person or remotely and maintains confidentiality.
