The Buckingham Correctional Center is seeking a Food Operations Supervisor (State Role Title: Food Service Technician III) to oversee inmate-led meal preparation for inmates and staff, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This role requires the ability to train inmates, monitor kitchen operations, and manage cost-efficient practices.

Preference is given to those with institutional food service experience and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and cost-efficient practices.
• Ability to train and direct inmates in kitchen operations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
• Experience in institutional or correctional food service operations.
• Certifications in food safety or sanitation (e.g., ServSafe) are desirable.
• Strong organizational skills.
