This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.
Note to Current State Employees: The salary grade for this position is NC07. Salary may be adjusted based on experience, education, and internal equity. The new salary range effective January 1, 2025, will be $35,984 - $62,971.
Applicants must demonstrate:
High school diploma or GED, plus two years of experience in institutional food preparation, management of a commercial food service, or as a Correctional Officer; or one year as a Correctional Food Service Officer; or equivalent education and experience. Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
