Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker at the Southeast Correctional Facility in Lancaster, OH. You will supervise inmates, train staff, and ensure meal production aligns with plans while maintaining sanitation and personal safety.

The role requires enforcing Aramark recipes, proper portions, and dietary needs, with a fixed hourly compensation and potential benefits. This on-site position emphasizes security, inventory, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of food prep or related work.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.
• Must qualify for and maintain facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Participate in the preparation and serving of meals.
• Print and distribute recipes; train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
• Follow security policies; keep storage areas locked.
• Ensure tools and equipment are returned to secure areas.
• Set work schedules and sanitation plans for cooks and staff.
• Assist inventory, receiving, and storage of food items; requisition orders.
• Participate in 5 P's (Participation, Pulls, Production, Portion Control, Postproduction).
• Follow SOPs and HACCP procedures for handling and storage.
