Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACA required training and GEO facility training completed or to be completed.
• Experience in food service activities; commercial or institutional meal prep preferred.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or correctional/related field preferred.
• State requirements for employment must be met.

Responsibilities

• Supervises detainees assigned to Food Services; directs food prep, cleanup, and sanitation.
• Coordinates inmate movements, conducts counts, and responds to emergencies.
• Conducts contraband shakedowns and confiscates contraband per policies.
• Initiates disciplinary reports and maintains daily logs.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs are addressed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
