Job summary

Talentify seeks a detail-oriented financial specialist to support correctional administration by managing obligations, FMIS data, and travel payments. You will monitor multiple appropriations (S&E, B&F, Trust Fund) and ensure timely entry and reconciliation of accounting records.

The role requires meticulous document review, accurate coding, and coordination of travel authorizations and vouchers, while upholding GAO Title 7 standards and security requirements within the institution.

Qualifications

• Experience managing obligations and reconciliations in FMIS.
• Ability to review documents for coding accuracy and enter data timely.
• Familiarity with federal travel modules and voucher processing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor obligation status of S&E, B&F, Trust Fund and Inmate Deposit funding.
• Provide administrative and financial support and maintain FMIS data daily.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, travel authorizations, and related documents.
• Prepare reconciliations and ensure funds are available for obligations.
• Process Travel Authorizations, Advances, and Travel Vouchers in FMIS.
